What insurance does a painter need?

A painter would need Public Liability as they are frequently coming into contact with the public so they are at risk of damaging third party property or injuring someone.

Tools of Trade insurance is also important to cover theft or loss of tools. Commercial Motor and Trailer insurance is common for painters.  Workers Compensation is also a legal requirement for any painters with employees or subcontractors.
